COVID-19 Safety Information

In the Whole Life Medicine clinic, we are, thankfully, seeing a decline in infections. However, we want everyone to remain diligent in continuing with preventative measures as we move forward through this new normal. We are taking all steps to maintain a safe and healthy office environment to provide healthcare to you, your family, our community, and the WLM staff.
  1. DO NOT ARRIVE TO THE WLM CLINIC OR PUBLIC AREAS WHILE SICK: Help us keep our work staff in action by not coming to our clinic with any cold or allergy symptoms. Stay home even if you have only very mild symptoms to prevent the recurrent spread of COVID-19. We are happy to reschedule your in-office appointment to a Telemedicine Video visit to maintain care. We will continue insurance covered telemedicine video visits on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 am – 4 pm. These can also be scheduled via the WLM Patient Portal.
  2. GET TESTED: Even if you are vaccinated, it is important to still get tested even if you have very mild symptoms.
  3. MASK UP: As a medical and healthcare facility in the state of Washington, Whole Life Medicine strictly complies with the COVID-19 guidelines set forth by Washington state Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Whole Life Medicine now requires protective face masks be only worn throughout visit in exam rooms. Remember that masks need to fully cover your mouth and nose.
Upgrade your mask! Cloth masks do not provide adequate protection against COVID-19. This is the time to upgrade your mask to a KN95, an N95, or start double masking.Protective Face Mask chart
  4. GET VACCINATED AND BOOSTERED: COVID-19 vaccinations are now FDA-Approved for people six months of age and older. Click Here for 6 Things to Know about the vaccination for young children. The initial two series of COVID-19 vaccination no longer qualify as fully vaccinated. Adding a booster shot increases your protection. The single most important thing you can do to protect yourself and your family against COVID-19 is to get vaccinated and get a booster shot. Our staff and providers are all vaccinated and boostered for your protection in the office. You can find a vaccine appointment here. If you would like to Read More about Holistic Providers who are advocates for vaccines.
It is important to note that unvaccinated individuals run the highest risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and death from COVID-19. Please schedule an appointment if you have questions or concerns about the COVID-19 vaccination options.
  5. PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING: Please do not bring any companions or children to your appointment. We will be staggering our physician schedules to allow for appropriate physical distancing.

The Whole Life Medicine staff and I hope you are staying healthy and well through this unusual time! We will get through this endemic together, day by day 🙂
