Accepted Insurance & Patient Fees Policy

Dr Serena is a preferred provider with most major insurances. She is an in-network provider for the following plans in Washington:

MEDICARE

Dr Serena is NOT a MEDICARE provider. Some Medicare Advantage plans however may provide coverage.

PATIENT FEES POLICY

Dr Serena provides some procedures and treatments that are not covered by insurance, and will always educate you if your plan will provide coverage or not for treatments appropriate for your conditions.

Telehealth: Dr Serena provide telemedicine service for her patients. Most major insurance now provide coverage for telemedicine care. If your insurance does not provide coverage for video conferencing for medical care, there is a nominal fee charged for this service.

All health plans vary, please contact your insurance directly to understand your specific coverage for Dr. Serena as a naturopathic physician under your plan.

Office visits fees are determined by the complexity of the problems addressed. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to discuss our fees. Your insurance will be billed directly. Insurance plans cover varying percentages of your medical costs; you may be responsible for any amount not covered by your plan.

The cost of a first time visit for naturopathic medicine is typically $150 – $300.

Follow up naturopathic medicine visits are typically $90 – $175.

Preventive medicine (annual exams and physicals) are typically $175

We charge a $50 no show fee for missed appointments, and $25-50 fee for medical form completions such as medical leave or legal documentation.
